Tuesday night..

Urgent Care for Cade. I already know it will be expensive, since this is the Children's Hospital on Hwy7, Urgent Care, BUT Cade is getting better now. He was sent home from school last Thursday with 101 fever. He just never really got better, and about 430 today started screaming his ear hurt, and wouldn't stop crying even after I gave him 2 tylenol's to eat. So I called Con, he said take him in I don't care, and Cade cried in the waiting room, he looked so miserable. He has double ear infections...So now he is on Omnicef for 10 days..YAY..

Tuesday

We WON Saturday 7-0! So I'm pretty happy about that. This last weekend Conley and I went overnight to a hotel in Black Hawk. It was a lot of fun with all my friends, and now Carol is 30 too!! We didn't win any money. But that's okay because this weekend, when Conley is in Las Vegas visting his friend he will win big:) And so what if he's gone Valentines Day, everyone is like wow he's gonna be gone..Well he gets back the 14th, and we have been married 7 years so the Hallmark holiday looses this year...He usually brings us all home awesome presents anyways. He deserves a little break, and I'll be taking one in April to visit my sister in Tucson. We are all doing great, happy healthy, and just taking things day to day. I am staying home for Spring Break. No plans to go anywhere, I would usually travel to Utah and Idaho, but my aunt is really busy in Utah, as much as I LOVE Utah, but when I would go to Utah, usually Idaho fit in someplace, and its not going to work this year. Although our doors are always open for guests.

3rd game

We did great our 3rd game! We didn't loose, we tied 4-4..It was a low scoring great defense game! I was so proud of the girls. They are doing so much better:) ps I did hear the team who killed us, along with all the other teams so far..They stopped keeping score at 37-3 with the team on Saturday..I didnt feel so bad afterall. Go Blue Devils:)

Quick Update

I have been sick I sware for like 4 months..Just getting over Strep now..
Our 2nd basketball game we got KILLED 19-3, but this team was huge 7th graders, and I mean Teagan in in 4th grade HELLO? So last night at pratice we worked a lot harder, we were all sweating at the end.
My idea for a fundraiser for the little boy who was ran over in a parking lot in Dec was approved, and Cade's school had a Jeans day for him last Friday, 1.00 or more per student to wear jeans..The little boy is 3 and his older brother is in Cade's K class..He is still in the hospital, but out of ICU.
We are doing well. Still waiting to hear when we will move. I'm excited to go to Arizona sometime in May and June to meet my little nephew who is due June 8th:) He will be the 1st on my side of the family. I have a niece and nephew from Con's side, and love them so much.

The 1st game

My team did great. We lost by 2 points, but still we got like 15 points! Thats pretty good for a 1st game I think! The previous team lost 2 -22 I think, so I was so proud we got points! We just need to work on rebounding, dribbling and traveling. Yes I have that (grandparent) on the tean that thinks he knows everything, so it's hard to teach my team 1 thing while he sits there and says something else. UGH...Anyways next pratice Wed...Teagan got 2 steals, but was in such a hurry to the basket she lost control, and so did the other girls..I'm having so much fun with this coaching thing! I will post pictures if I ever get some taken..

First Pratice

Went okay. I found out another team signed up for the small gym too, so I moved my girls into the big gym and we shared with Teagan's prinipals team. I really had no idea what to do. It was kinda scary, but I got it done. We did some dribbling, lay-ups and free throws and a few scrimmages. Tomorrow I have a better plan. I am going to teach them screens, on the offense, and to deny on the defense..First game is Saturday 920am....At Bromley East

Coaches meeting..

I was the last person to the meeting, because I left my house, and was going to be on time, but HWY 7 is closed into town. SO I have to detour in the wrong direction, to drop the kids off. Anyways I'm hoping that bridge opens soon because its so much faster. This detour is about 10-15 minutes out of the way I need to go everyday to Cades school and now to basketball games and pratices. I got a middle school Overland M and W 6-7pm. I signed up with 2 other teams that are girls the same age, so it should work out well. 1 team being Teagan's principle's team, so I figured I'll score some brownie points for her. We got baby blue t-shirts, kinda like Nuggets color, so thats cool. I called the girls already, some answered, some didn't so we will see who shows up for pratice..I'm more nervous then ever..
