Cade's latest news

Cade has been in preschool and now pre-k for about 1 and half years. I was alerted by his teacher that she thought Cade had some perception, mid-line, and didn't want to do any or the work in his class that actually required work. Well I wasn't too worried about him, and thought I would go get him a free assessment at the local hospital just to see what the therapist there thought. I brought with me a letter from his pk teacher, and a picture he had colored that had taken him 40 minutes to color and it wasn't even finished. During the appointment the lady evaluating him did notice he got very frustrated with himself, and also did switch hands a lot to draw or color. (Which I think is normal) Well today was his actual appointment, (not free) and he met with the Occupational Therapist for another in depth evaluation. She thinks he is RIGHT handed, and wants us to push him using his right hand, she said he is very smart and knows a lot. However when he was trying to color a small part of a picture, or cut a circle, or even try to copy a square, he would smack himself in the head! The therapist says she will like to see him anywhere from 4-8 times, once a week, to help him gain confidence, because she thinks he is a perfectionist, and thats why he won't do any work at school, because he doesn't want to mess it up. Also anyone who knows Cade knows he Hates to be a little wet, he hates being dirty, or sticky, and also is always washing his hands. Well when I mentioned that, and his night terrors that he has been having lately, the therapist thought maybe it was a little sensory issue also. SO Conley gave me the go ahead to keep him in his current school, because the therapist will call his teacher, so they can work on it together, and in the mean time, I have to make him use forks and spoons, because lately he just wants to use his hands, and I have to make him put his own shoes and socks on, and get dressed by himself. (Maybe I am the problem here! I baby him too much!) So he doesn't have any perception problems, or any learning problems, he is just like his dad basically....A perfectionist, with an attitude, and a little demon temper!

Lifetime Fitness

Conley got us a family membership to Lifetime Fitness for one of our gifts! I have already gone 2 days in a row, and its such a nice gym. The kids club has 20 computers for the kids to play on, a basketball court, a climbing thing, huge tv, etc. Conley and I both went yesterday, and took the kids swimming afterwards. (Well I took them, because Conley doesn't want to show off his awesome tan and other reasons...) I'm not offended he got a gym membership, because we already have renewed ours to 24 hour fitness for this next year, and I usually try to work out everyday. I just love the gym, and he knows that! The best part is they have outside slides and a huge pool, so I won't have to buy Elitch or Waterworld season passes this next year. I am looking forward to that! Go to the gym and get a workout in , then take the kids swimming!

They even have swim lessons for kids, rock climing, a salon inside with a spa, a cafe, have saunas in both locker rooms, easch shower is sanitized 2 times a day, and they are individual...

Conley was out of town, so I called up "S" and said we were coming over around 4pm. Well I brought my "drinks" and my kids and we had a lot of fun. "S" made us some dinner and it was real good! We had a lot of fun talking and laughing, and the kids had fun too. We ended up bringing Cheyenne home for a sleepover. I told the girls that I didn't care what they did, or when they went to bed, but they must be quiet so I can sleep! (I am so selfish) Here are our annual Christmas Pics I take with our very best friends! Cade loved the buffet at Santa's Breakfast. He felt all important and wanted to keep going up there to get grapes, then more potaotes, then needed ketchup, then he wanted more hot cocoa, then he wanted more strawberries, it went on and on untill I told him to stop because he NEVER ate any of the food, except the candy !

Bass Pro Shops has remote trucks for the kids to play, one BB gun shooting area (not pictured) butt when Cade would shoot his gun he would close one of his eyes! So Cute. They also had another shooting area with Nerf like things, and best of all trains, free letters to Santa and FREE Santa pictures!!!

I finally got a new camera! And you want to know what I did with the broken one? I sold it on eBay for 30 bucks! HA ha Anyways here are some new pictures from my new camera! I got an Olympus FE-370 5x optical zoom, and 8.0 mega, with a case, and memory card and a coupon for 50 free prints for 120.00 at Costco, it was a black Friday sale. Yes I did go to Black Friday with Heather, and we got everything we wanted and more. I got the Leapster handheld for Cade, and tons of PJ's for 4.00, and Pixos for Teagan. So if anyone needs ideas, get Teagan Pixos refills, and Cade a leapster cartridge, but call me before because I have a ton already from our Lepater TV. Oh and if anyone out-there has old game boy games let me know, Teagans Santa gift is a game boy advance that I got from eBay. (EBay is my newest favorite thing, I have made 5 sales in the last week making 40+) Attached are some pictures of my kids at Bass Pro Shops Breakfast with Santa. I will attach more also.

Conley turns 30!

The day before Conley's 30th b-day he went golfing with his insurance agent and some buddies. Well I snuck to the golf course and wrote all over his car, HAppy 30, Warning old man, viva viagra, etc..After all that, he called me on his way home to let me know he was going to Rock Bottom to have dinner, and he would see me later. (Usually I would be all mad, but I was in on this part) He also asked me who worte all over his car, and I said I have no idea, I don't even know where that golf course is at! Well I surprised him at Rock Bottom, and then Dan and Emily came, and so did Paul's wife. It was realy nice! The next day, my dad gave him a gift, and I had gotten him so pants, and books, and a blown up picture of him with Mike Ditka.

Teagan's last Volleyball game and driving a porsche

My mom came up to Teagan's last game in a Porsche and Teagan pretended to drive it. She played very well in her last game, and next up is Basketball. Teagan got a cute volleyball necklace from her coach and they had pizza after the game.

Teagan gets glasses

Well the day came, and Teagan got glasses. I got a call from Teagan's teacher to tell me Teagan was very upset that she had to take the eye test. And the first time around TEagan couldn't even see the big E, which is leagally blind! But after her Teacher talked to her, and calmed her down, Teagan could only read to the 3rd line down. I took Teagan to Target, and after an eye test, she was told she needs glasses, and has to wear them most of the time. Almost 200! just for kids glasses! Crazy. After she gets glasses, she says, wow there is snow on the mountains! She couldn't see the snow? I felt so bad! So here's a picture of Teagan with her new glasses!

New Kids on the Block Concert

I want to first thank my dad, for coming with me to the cocncert, because he was seriously so fun to be with, and I am not exagerating because I want a good inheritance. This concert was the most fun I have had in so long. I could be myself, I felt like I was 10 again! I am so grateful to have a wonderful father who took me to dinner, took me to drinks, and paid for a t-shirt for me. It was honestly the most fun I have had in a long time...I am so very grateful!

I have my vintage shirt from the 1990 Magic Summer Tour (thanks to Janet) but my problem my date (my dad) needs a t-shirt. So I want to know should I make him a shirt that says 1. Grandpas for New Kids on the Block, 2. I love Natasha (Natasha Bedingfield is opening) 3. I love my daugher so much I bought her NKOTB tickets! I have also been sending my dad pictures of me when I was a baby all week. Just wanted to share...

Brighton Crap Center and Pin Head Employee

Its been a little while since I have really updated this blog. Sorry, but I will try to be better..
Teagan has been playing Volleyball with the Brighton Rec Center. This past Saturday I about got into a fight with the damn pin-head front desk guy. I would say they went over to the retard area to hire him, but I think all retards are nicer and smarter then this stupid pin head skinny nerd. Here is what happened. Teagan has pratice 2 times a week on Tue and Thu form 4-5. Well I have to go pick her up at school and most of the time she forgets I am picking her up, and most of the time this is the ONLY time Cade falls asleep. So I see Teagan getting onto the bus, I am yelling out of my car window, and everyone is looking at me except Teagan. I hurry to get get out of the car, the 55 pound 4 year old who hates to be woken up, and I hurry grab him, and run over to Teagan, who just looks at me like Hi Mom what are you doing here? Anyway this is most Tuesdays and Thursdays for me okay, not just 1 day. She changes in the car, and we get to pratice. Well Pin-head dude must gets off on telling people they can't bring any food or drink into the gym area, because he stops everyone, including me the physco crazy mom. Well I didn't have anything this time, but I did drop TEagan off go to the grocery store, and come back to get her. Well I had come back with a 3.99 Red Bull, the big ones ya know? And the pin head guy said sorry you have to leave that here...UGH I was like why? So I walked Cade and me and my Red Bull back to the car. That was the 1st run in. THe 2nd run in, was when Cade was being so horribly bad at Teagan pratice I grabbed him and we went into the lobby to watch tv. I buy him a treat, I think it was chips or something, and we sit back down and watch tv. Well Mr Pin Head comes over to me and says Mam you can't have that snack here, I said where well can he have a snack in this crap hole? He says over there and points to a table on some tile. So we get up move again, and Cade steps on his chip so its all in the carpet...HAHA...Well Saturday at TEagans game, when it was over they hand out snacks and drinks. But before this, Cade has swim lessons during Teagans game from 925-955 at the same place. So she goes out to the lobby to get her unopened snack and drink, because they pin head wouldn't even let the team bring in unopened snacks to just sit there! So Pin head gets a hard on when I start to go through the doors to go get Cade from swim lessons, and tells me Mam you can't bring those snacks back there. I said "Sir my daughter isn't going to open anything, they are unopened, and I need to go get my 4 year old out of the pool. (No I didn't leave him there byhimself, Con was supposed to be with him, but that a whole other post) Pin head says "Mam is says so on the door right there" I said "This place is so bull**it, and you have bull**** rules!!!! UGH Before the game I had taken Teagan to get knee pads, but Walmarts were too big for her. And when we got to the game, this one lady to also gets off on being the mom who thinks she can coach her daughter, but isn't the coach type, tell Teagan in front of the whole tean really loud "Where are your knee pads, you cannot play in the game without knee pads" Teagan comes over to me all sad, and I told her that lady is just being an informed grump, and to keep playing. BTW they are not required, and I have decited the pretend coach, who really isn't the coach, because Teagan's coach is this really sweet highschool girl, the pretend coach is just mad because I have asked around if she is pregnant, but she's not! She just looks pregnant..I will post later on the pool drama...OMG>>>>
