Cade's first day of school

Today was Cade's first day of school. He is going to Gethseme Luthern School again. He has Mrs. Poole, and he goes 5 days a week. He was very good when we got there. He didn't cry, and he put his name tag on, and went inside. Part of why he did so well was because the teacher didn't allow parents into the room today. I think she was just trying to make it easier for the kids. He has some of his friends in his class again so he knew some kids. Before we left this morning he said to me "Mom can't you just cancel school? Just cancel it mom" I told him no, and if he had a good day I would take him to McDonalds afterwards for a Happy Meal so he could get a CloneWars guy. He did very well! I also have to leave Teagan in the mornings now alone for about 10 minutes, but she is with other kids on our driveway waiting for the bus. I think she will be okay. (I hope) Our next adventures will be swim lessons for both kids, and Volleyball for Teagan all of which start in October. (Cade in the cute little Bears hat I found at Childrens Place when we were school shopping for him, and the other is from Sunday at the park, he climed that rock)

This is just proof as to why I hate my daughters room. All of the items you see are things I found under her bed, in her closet, behind her bed, in her toy boxes and in her drawers. She cannot clean, she just moves it to another location of hides it under blankets.

Cade's meltdown over no chocolate

Cade is in love with chocolate. He only drinks chocolate milk, and it has to be the store bought kind in the gallon jug which he drinks about 3-4 of those a week! He loves anything chocolate and one day I bought some chocolate and here is he trying to climb up on the counters looking to see where I hid it, because he had eaten more than half the bag in one day! My kids know how to "hide" the candy from me and when I say only 1 they take 3-4 and hide them. A few days ago Cade came upstairs and said "Mom can I have another Oreo cookie?" And I said okay just 1, then he says "but I need 2, 1 for Teagan and one for me" So I say okay. Well about 5 minutes later Teagan comes upstairs asking if she can have 2 cookies like Cade. So in short the kids both do this over anything candy.

Here are the famous kittens. Oreo is black and white, and Ben 10 (from Cade's favorite cartoon Ben 10 alien force on cartoon network) is the multi-color one. They are nice for cats I guess.
