This is Chris Anderson. He is the one on the Nuggets with all the color tattoos, and also has crazy mo-hawks. I basically call him the white Denis Rodman! He was very nice in person! And look he is taller than I am stiing down!

Friday night we had a very lucky chance to go visit the Nuggets Basketball team. We got to play around on the actual court, the kids were able to shoot on the hoops, while George Carl was sitting there watching them. We got great food also! Cade kept going back for more chips and cookies. We also got a picture with "The Bird Man..aka Chris Anderson! He also signed the kids special VIP necklace and the photo! Those basketball players are huge giants in person! They are a total different species! We also got to tour the actual Nugget locker room, and got to see the 2nd basketball court at the Pepsi Center, where the players pratice when another event is going on. The kids also got ballons, face painting, and a picture with Rocky the Mascot. After we were done they gave each of us choice of a stuffed Rocky animal, mini-nugget basketball, or picture frame. Well since I had stepped on Cade's Rocky Ballon (he was being horrible and I told him the next time he threw his ballon I was going to step on it, well I didn't even put pressure on the thing, but it did pop, I know I am a mean mom, I did that while we were touring the locker rooms, so it was quite embarassing to have him crying throughout the entire tour, and he was calling me stupid mom, dumb mom, and kicking me...Maybe he'll learn now to listen to me) the kids picked the Rocky Stuffed animals, Con got a bball and I got the frame. It was a pretty great experience!

Cade's 5th Birthday

We had a small party for Cade at McDonalds with his friends from school on Friday the 6th. He had a lot of fun at the party, and he got lots of great gifts. I only got 1 picture of his b-day party with my phone. That night we had a family party for him. Thanks to everyone who made Cade's day special.

Cade is sick now

Poor Cade has croup. He started last night with a really bad cough, and slept fine. But this morning, he couldn't stop coughing, I gave him a breathing treatment, and put the humidifier on him and he wasn't getting better. We went to the Dr. and he saw 4 diff. Dr's. He is ok, but will have to take a steroid (Dexamethazone I think) for the next few days. He also had a fever, so the Dr said I couldn't take him to the gym today...It's okay I needed a break anyways! Cade got to pick out his favorite ice cream (because I have to crush the pills up and put them in something) and he got a push pop candy thing so he is happy right now on the couch watching Batman. Isn't it sad that my kid will only eat ice cream, candy, nachos, or soda? So when the Dr said to just crush it up and feed him something I was like well can I put it in a pop? They said no it has to be something like pudding, well Cade hates pudding, or yogurt. So I said ice cream? Yep!! For now I just have a pet seal...He sounds like he belongs in the aquarium or the zoo with the rest of the pet seals...Poor guy.
