Grandma Bartlow dies tonight

Grandma Jane and her Mom

Cade and Grandma Bartlow 5 Generation PIcture Oct 04

My Grandma Bartlow just passed away. I know I didn't see her often, since she lives in Illinois, and she was in a rest home for a long time, but it's still sad that she isn't here anymore. She was my grandma Jane's mom, and my grandma Jane died at 63 of a brain tumor. I just wanted to post that I am feeling bummed out about this loss, and I have all my family in Illinois in my thoughts..

R.I.P Cookie :::((((

Today when I came home from taking Cade to school, Tegans cat Cookie was dead on the side of the road. I called the humane society, and reported her. Cade's cat Ben10 (a heshe) he is a boy cat with a girl body...(and pregnant) is lost without Cookie. Cookie was one of our most skittish cats. She would run away from everything and everyone...Poor Cookie...So we have 1 cat 1 dog and still 2 fish. Cade's fish has been alive in our care for over 1 whole year!!! WOW...

I promised Teagan a slumber party for her 9th birthday, and finally full-filled my promise last night! I think a lot of it was me being not inspired to have a slumber party, and we had a lot going on the past 2 months. Anyhow, she had 6 girls come over, Hayley (friend from Belle Creek and know each other since preschool), Cheyenne (Teagans friend also from Belle Creek and close family friend), Jaylene (from Teagans new school), Natalie ( from school, she didn't spend the night), Addy, (Teagans friend from school, didn't spend the night either), Keaton (our neighbor and Teagan's friend since we have lived in this house 5+years also school buddy) When everyone arrived about 6pm, they went on the trampoline, then inside, and downstairs to play dance dance revolution. I had the hot tub all ready for them as well, so they also went swimming in the hot tub. We had a problem though, the stupid hot-tub turned off, if it gets too wet where the electrical box is, its shuts off. It was still hot, so they stayed in. One girl also lost her earring in the hot-tub, which was a little dramatic and I got out the flashlight and found the front of the earring, and I told her I would give her a back for the earring. We then had pizza, and rented Beverly Hills Chiuwawa (sp) and 2 girls left at 10pm, and about 130am, I was asking the girls to try to go to bed. And about 6-630 am they were right up again! They went to wake up all the neighbors on the trampoline, had pancakes, and made a craft. Then they were all gone by 1030am!! WHOO HOO for me!!! I have spent most of the day in bed today, and feel really lazy!
