This was at the Flagstaff House in Boulder celebrating my dads 25 years at IBM...
Melissa and Dad at Teagans "family" party, Teagan had also invited Melissa to her "friend" party at the bowling alley last January. I just wanted to say how excited I am to welcome Melissa to our family! My dad asked her to marry him last Sunday, and she said yes! We do not know when or where but it will be a very happy day when it does happen. Melissa and my dad have been dating for 2 years, and she is WONDERFUL with my kids, and I love her too! Teagan is very excited because now she says she can see Melissa's horses all the time since it will be her step-grandma! Funny story about 2 years ago my dad took Teagan to Estes Park for Melissa horse show (she jumps her horse) and I told Teagan to tease my dad about when he will marry Melissa and he got all weird and said SHHH really loud and didn't want to scare her off! Well this last weekend my dad took Teagan to the horse show again and my dad was very happy with Teagan teasing him! Plus while Cade and I were there on Sunday Melissa won 2 1st place ribbons and Champion Ribbon! She is sooo good on her horse! I will get some pictures from her to share soon!
