Jesus Bath?

Cade said to me after Teagans pratice one day, "Mom is this where Jesus got baptized?"...As you can see its a nasty old weird bird bath? Who knows what it is but its ugly and sitting at Benedict Park in Brighton Colorado...I told him Sure Cade...What do you say to that?

Friday...

Today I am going to the gym, then I will let the kids swim at the gym, if they want to. Usually 1 wants to and the other doesn't. I think they are both sick of each other, all they do is fight and usually someone ends up with blood. I bought the kids each their "own" bandaids. Cade got Transformers, Teagan got Littelest Petshop. Well now Cade tells me mom, I organized all the bandaids from smallest to biggest, and he pre-opened them, so when he gets an owie he can just take the paper off the tape part. He is still waiting around for an owie, and says he wants me to give him one. Teagan also followed in Cade's footsteps and organized hers. The things kids fight over...
Another funny story...Grandma Barbara gave the kids bow and arrows this summer, well I was in Target a few days ago, and Cade had to bring his with him. THe whole time was trying to shoot Teagan, and this old lady says to him, "You can't do that to your sister" Hello!!! I'm right there making sure he doesn't shoot her, since he has ripped off the foam part, and its an even more a weapon now...Oh-well..I absolutely HATE taking the kids anywhere now. All they do is fight, and scream at each other...Well I will post pictures soon I promise!

Our Week

We have had a busy week with all the kids activities, plus a new puppy. Teagan's last week of softball will be next week. And Cade will also have his last game next Friday. Cade's track team finished off the season, with a picnic, and pool party. They had a lot of fun with that. We went swimming a few times this week, but mostly have been dealing with the dog: Roxy. She has been a really good puppy. I have never had a puppy, but she hasn't been that bad. This week she loved chewing on my bathing suit bottoms, and Cades also. She got in trouble for that, then went right back and grabbed my suit again..She got a new kennel (thanks dad) so she has a really big kennel in the guest bedroom. She peed in the house when Con was here, he actually let her out to "go potty" and she did, but he doesn't know she goes like 2 times if she has been in the kennel for a few hours. She LOVES to crawl under my bed, and she likes to eat weeds, she may be part goat who knows. Cades cat Ben10 is okay with the dog, she doesn't hiss at her, but the smaller kittens who are about 6 mo old are afraid. Our new new kittens are about 3 weeks old and Ben10 had 6 of them, so they will be going away soon! They are all so cute! Cade got a call from his kindergarten teacher who is the same teacher Teagan had at Belle Creek! YAY! He goes back to school night Aug 6th, and meets with his teacher the 10th. He starts on the 13th. I already told his teacher I am available whenever to volunteer! She was excited about that!

Next up for us will be soccer, volleyball and swim lessons for Cade. We are all healthy and happy, and if you hadn't heard we are probably moving within the next few months. Its excited, yet scary since I hoard everything!!

The last week has been very exhausing...New puppy has tried to chew my flip flops, Teagans flip flops, our dirty clothes, the table, the long blinds at the sliding door, chase cats, pee in the house, poop on Teagans book titled "Cloudy with a Chance of MEatballs" (funny), eat everything on the floor including, plastice wrappers left from kids, toys, stuffed animals, rocks, dirt, and her favorite treat are the dandelions outside that leave her looking like she has a beard. She absolutely LOVES Conley which he gets all annoyed about...She also loves to hide under my bed, sleep next to my bed, since she whines ALL night I gave up the crate until I get a bigger one. She licks the tile floor, carpet, and loves to search for treasures in our bathroom trash cans, lick shower water, and whine when she can't get into shower. She loves the kids, and follows them all over. I have to pull her to go on a walk, she is still 12 weeks, and gets tired easily. I think I have walked 100 circles around my house trying to train her to go outside to pee and poop. Which makes all the neighborhood kids come over because I am outside. Cade starts kindergarten Aug 13, all day, and Teagan 4th grade. More Roxy updates to come...She loves dinner time also, plants her little heart shaped butt under the kids' stools to catch some goodies..

New addition to our family!!!

This was very un-expected...We were given the chance to bring home a Rotweiler puppy last night. She is a pure breed, and the dog itself is worth about 700-1200 dollars. We didn't have to pay anything, Con has a some really great friends, and the kids were instantly in love. Now I have to deal with potty training...Which is going okay, but for the most part she is nervour around stairs, she is about 11 weeks old, and just the nicest puppy ever. She follows Teagan around! And if no one else has heard we also had 6 new kittens, they are still alive!! 2 are spoken for, but I have 4 more for free, in about 4-5 weeks! 10 cats, a puppy, 2 fish, and 2 kids...Can;t be lonely anymore!!!
